Recipe: Yummy cinnamon buns

Ingredients of cinnamon buns

  1. You need of dough ingredients.
  2. Prepare 1 envelope of active dry yeast.
  3. You need 1 cup of warm milk.
  4. Prepare 1/2 cup of white sugar.
  5. It's 1/3 cup of margarine.
  6. You need 1 tsp of salt.
  7. It's 2 of eggs.
  8. It's 4 cup of all-purpose flour.
  9. You need of filling.
  10. Prepare 1 cup of brown sugar.
  11. You need 2 1/2 tbsp of ground cinnamon.
  12. It's 1/3 cup of melted margarine.
  13. You need of icing.
  14. You need 1 1/2 cup of confectioners sugar.
  15. Prepare 8 tbsp of unsalted butter.
  16. Prepare 1/4 cup of cream cheese.
  17. Prepare pinch of salt.
  18. You need 1/2 tsp of vanilla.

Kanelbullar or cinnamon buns are a classic at Swedish coffee parties. If you are invited to someone's home for coffee, you always get a cinnamon bun, a cookie or a piece of cake with it.   1. For the rolls, dissolve the yeast in the warm milk in a large bowl..
  2. Knead the dough into a large ball, using your hands dusted lightly with flour..
  3. Put in a bowl, cover and let rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until the dough has doubles in size..
  4. Roll the dough out on a lightly floured surface uintil it is approx. 21 inches long by 16 inches wide. it should be approx. 1/4 thick..
  5. Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  6. To make feeling , combine the brown sugar and cinnamon in a bowl..
  7. Add sugar, margarine, salt , eggs and flour then mix well..
  8. Spread the softened margarine over the surface of the dough, then sprinkle the brown sugar and cinnamon mixture evenly over the surface..
  9. Working carefully , from the long edge , roll the dough down to the bottom edge..
  10. Cut the dough into 1 3/4 inch slices and place in a lightly grease bkaing pan..
  11. Bake for 10 minutes or until light golden brown..
  12. While the rolls are baking combine the icing ingredients..
  13. Beat well with an electric mixer until fluffy..
  14. when the rolls are done , spread generously with icing. serve and enjoy.☺.

There are few things that could enhance the flavor and texture of a cinnamon bun, but sourdough is one of them. Cinnamon Buns are an old school classic pastry and one that I enjoyed getting with my Dad when I was a kid.
